2025 Artist's Retreat
"How to Really Sing Harmony" and "the Solo Artist Skill Set"
To finalize plans, we need for you to register ASAP! To cover expenses and the cost of food on Saturday, there is a $27.50 registration fee for artist members and $40 for non-members that you can to pay online below! (There is also an $8.00 charge for pizza for Friday evening attendees.)
We have a Dual Theme this year: "How to Really Sing Harmony" and "the Solo Artist Skill Set" but our faculty is capable of covering, and will cover, much more! We will be meeting from 6:00-9:00 on Friday evening with food and great fellowship and excellent presentations by Devin Cunningham and Ginny Spillman, and we'll top off the evening singing in the racketball court! Saturday will run from 9:00AM to 6:00PM, and we will be especially blessed by our special guest presenter from Cincinnati, OH, the awesome Bryan Hutson, former lead singer with the Kingsmen, Blackwood Quartet, solo artist, duo artist, etc., etc.! Prayer and Dismissal
Faculty:
Bryan Hutson, former lead singer with the Kingsmen Qt, Blackwood Quartet, Soul'd Out Qt.; currently sings both as a solo artist and as a duet artist with his wife, Yvonne.
Devin Cunningham, former tenor with Right Road Quartet, Legacy Quartet, Faithful First Trio, former solo artist, and currently sings as a duet artist with his wife, Camille.
Ginny Spillman, experienced in both gospel music and secular music; expert in engaging and holding an audience.
Rich Treptow, bari in two international champion barbershop quartets, multiple other ensembles, currently tenor and arranger for Victorious Trio. Rich also was a performance judge for collegiate a cappella contests across the country.
Eric Shaw, tenor of His Voice Through Us trio and other groups, minister of music, solo artist, and sound engineer.
Cost:
Per person cost, including all Saturday Continental Breakfast, Lunch, and Barbeque dinner, including evening Parade of Artists Concert (maximum of $110 for any IGMA member group).
IGMA Artist Members $27.50 per person
IGMA Associate Members: $22.50 per person
Non-IGMA members $40.00 per person (Note: Annual dues to IGMA are only $25, so why not join?),
