About the Indiana Gospel Music Association
The Indiana Gospel Music Association ("IGMA") is a 501(c)3, tax-exempt organization, created in 1975 to encourage and support the presentation of the gospel of Christ through Gospel Music. We help our members develop their God-given talents and help make their ministries more effective. We also provide Christian fellowship for Gospel Music artists and their fans. IGMA sponsors several events throughout the year that support those in music ministry, and which also provide the general public a chance to enjoy and be blessed through good Gospel Music.
Members of the IGMA benefit from the experience of others in the organization though networking, support, and Christian fellowship at monthly meetings. IGMA sponsors and hosts the Indiana Gospel Music Fanfest Convention, workshops, seminars, and artist retreats, several Gospel concerts throughout Indiana, including the State and county fairs, and an annual banquet. At monthly meetings, IGMA members meet for fellowship, sing for one another, pray for one another, share testimonies, and enjoy a meal together. The IGMA helps individuals and groups grow in their ministry and in their relationship with Christ. The IGMA currently has two districts: the Indianapolis District, serving Central Indiana and the "Southern" District, serving members who wish to attend meetings in the southern part of Indiana, currently meeting in Scottsburg. There is also an At Large District. If you would like to start a new District in your area, please contact us at [email protected]. There is no need to be a resident of Indiana to join IGMA, In fact, we also have members who live in Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio! |
Our MissionTo proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music ministries, encouraging fellowship, support, networking and development (both spiritual and artistic), and to exalt the name of Jesus Christ. |
