2017 Day of Enrichment-ARTISTS' RETREAT
"Developing and Delivering Spiritually Moving Performances"
April 1, 2017 at Northside Baptist Church in Indianapolis

Picture

The main presenter was Doug Anderson formerly of Ernie Haase and Signature Sound, and now of Cana's Voice.  Doug, who has won all or parts of 14 Dove Awards and has 2 Grammy nominations, shared his knowledge, perspective. and experience for this Artists' Retreat. One of Doug's key points was that, as an artist, you must  "Know your WHY."  That is, to truly understand why you do what you do and then build every element of your ministry around that purpose.

Doug sang several of his songs while illustrating song selection and their proper positioning within a program set.
Picture
Doug was able to engage all 50 of the attendees both musically and in his explanations and encouraging comments.
Picture
Doug was very approachable, and shared some personal time with many of us. Pictured is Kristen Stanton, and members of Blessed Truth and 4 the Light Quartets.

The Day of Enrichment included some bonding time to get to know one another better and make new friends.
